THE GINGERBREAD MAN (Session 1: STORYTELLING)

Kirstie Gough has kindly accepted my invitation to come to school today and carry out a storytelling session with 5ºA, 6ºA and 6ºB. The story chosen was: The Gingerbread Man.

Vídeo-The Gingerbread man (storytelling)

Kirstie performed the story brilliantly, and we were all very enthusiastic about it.
All children listened to the story entirely in English, they played a smelling game with the spices (cinammon, ginger, vanilla and nutmeg), and learned new things about plants, specially guessing what part of the plant spices come from. Finally, we also had time to make the puppets and run a role-play with each child representing a character.

Thank you very much, Kirstie, for your thorough preparation and motivating presentation, all children loved it! and they could easily remember the motto of the story:

"Run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread man!"

It was a lovely day. THANK YOU, ALL!
